About Tanja

Real estate decisions are rarely just about the property. They involve finances, timing, negotiations, market conditions, and sometimes unexpected challenges along the way. With more than 20 years of experience in Tampa Bay real estate, I help buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners understand the bigger picture so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

Originally from Germany, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Banking, briefly working in investment management. In 1998, I moved to the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, where my background expanded into project management. After marrying my husband in 2000, we relocated to Florida in 2002. Those experiences shaped the organized, analytical, and client-focused approach I bring to every real estate transaction today.

Since becoming a Florida Realtor in 2004, I've helped clients navigate a wide range of transactions, from traditional home purchases and sales to condominiums, investment properties, short sales, estate-related transactions, and bankruptcy trustee sales. I've learned that no two situations are exactly alike, and that the greatest value I can provide is helping clients anticipate challenges, understand their options, and move forward with confidence.

Today, I combine local Tampa Bay market knowledge with current data, modern technology, and hands-on experience to guide my clients through every step of the process. I believe in clear communication, thoughtful planning, and making sure my clients understand not only what's happening during a transaction, but why it matters.

Outside of real estate, my husband and I are proud parents of two young adult children. Our son is pursuing his graduated degree at the University of Florida while our daughter attends Florida State University, making football season a fun and (mostly friendly) divided household. We greatly enjoy traveling and spending time on the water, and I especially enjoy working with international clients by providing real estate guidance in both English and German.

At the heart of my business is a simple philosophy: good real estate decisions start with good information. My role is to provide the experience, perspective, and guidance you need to make confident decisions—from our first conversation through closing and beyond.
