Where Does All That Rainwater Go? Why Gutters Matter in Florida

One inch of rain on a home with a 2,000-square-foot roof footprint can mean nearly 1,250 gallons of water coming off that roof. During a heavy rainstorm at one of my Largo listings, a funny moment at a downspout turned into a useful reminder about how much water our Tampa Bay homes have to manage.
